Here is the dining room before. It was chocolate brown. And for some reason, the previous owners painted the wainscoting the same color.

Here is one view of the dining room, partially repainted. See that TALL ladder in the background? I have to climb that to reach the top of the wall.

Here is another view of the dining room. I think after the second coat of Belgian Waffle on the top and the wainscoting painted white it will look 1 million times better.

Here is the powder room....remember we had a flood and had to have the floor replaced. This is the room I am wallpapering the top with black and white toile.

Penny,
You sure have been busy - all of your hard work is paying off. It looks great! I can't wait to see the toile wallpaper in the powder room.

I love the dining room color and the powder room is going to be beautiful. I wanted to wallpaper our powder room, but I got overruled. Should have stuck to my guns.
I have to stop in every morning to see the progress. It is amazing.
Oh yes, belgian waffle is so much prettier than brown:>) lol. That's the Penny I know and love! The beadboard and wainscoting is such a great detail in a home. It makes a huge difference in how put together a room looks. I am just waiting to see that toile paper in the bath!
Your progress each day is amazing. You must be exhausted!
You really are making changes there and it's going to be fabulous. Love those corbels and the Belgian Waffle paint!
It probably seems painfully slow progress from your vantage point but I'm amazed at what you have done already. Everything looks beautiful. You have a real decoraters eye.
Looks wonderful Penny! Where did ya purchase your corbels?
It's coming right along! Great job Penny :)
I love seeing your progress Penny! It's turning out beautiful!!
Good morning Penny, your progress is looking great. Your dining room will be beautiful in yellow and white. Who would painting wainscoting the same color as the walls? No appreciation of a great feature that's for sure. I love the bead board and the corbels. All things will soon come to pass. Be careful on the tall ladder. Right now I am doing the same thing. I am painting my great room Laura Ashley gold # 3. I love the color but my ceilings are 20 feet high. LOL. My tall son will help me finish the high part.
Have a happy day and be careful.
Hugs, Jeanne
